Title: General Maintenance Worker

Location: Emory, VA

Type: Contract to Hire

Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and repair work in dorm rooms, classrooms, and other buildings.
• Paint walls, doors, and other surfaces as needed.
• Repair and maintain flooring, including carpet, tile, and other floor surfaces.
• Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs to plumbing and electrical systems.
• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and address maintenance issues promptly.
• Respond to emergency situations and assist with necessary maintenance or facility-related tasks.
• Follow all safety procedures and ensure work is completed in accordance with applicable standards.
